What surfaces can I print on?
EdiBot prints best on relatively flat absorbent surfaces. This includes a wide range of foods like cookies, cakes, macarons, marshmallows, and coffee foam. It also works on non-food items such as gift boxes, ribbons, cards, napkins, cotton fabrics, and even skin (may fade with water or sweat)
*Note: It does not print on non-absorbent surfaces like metal, glass, or ceramic
What is the ink made of? Is it safe?
Yes! Our NanoJet™ edible ink cartridges use food-grade ingredients such as purified water, glycerin, and FD&C-approved food colorings. All ingredients are widely recognized as safe for consumption and meet both U.S. FDA and international food safety standards.
Is the cartridge included in the printer set?
Yes! Every EdiBot printer comes with one NanoJet™ cartridge, so you're ready to print right out of the box.
What is the maximum print area?
EdiBot prints with a single-pass width of 0.92 inch (23.3mm). The maximum print length varies based on the resolution:
1200 x 1200 dpi: up to 0.3 m, 1200 x 600 dpi: up to 0.6 m, 1200 x 300 dpi: up to 1.2 m
*This allows for highly detailed small prints as well as long-format printing for ribbons or edible decorations.
What is the warranty policy?
EdiBot comes with a 12-month warranty. Register your product to extend it to 18 months total.
